Refund policy

Every Handed Down book is made to order from your family's recipes. Here is exactly how refunds work.

Before your book prints: full refund. You can cancel any time before your book prints and we refund you in full. No reason needed. This includes after you have sent your cards and after you have seen your proof.

You approve every page first. Before anything prints, you get your whole book as a digital proof. You can ask for changes. Nothing prints until you approve it.

After your book prints. Because every book is one of a kind, we can't refund a book once it has been printed. If your book arrives damaged or with a printing defect, email us within 30 days with a photo and we will reprint it at no cost to you.

Your original cards. If you chose mail-in, we return your original cards whether you keep your order or cancel it.

How to cancel. Email help@handeddowncookbook.com with your order number. Refunds go back to your original payment method.
